Terms of Use

These terms explain how early beta users may use ReleaseHQ for milestone approvals, payment proof tracking, and controlled deliverable release.

Starter beta document. This is written in plain language for early testing and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before a public paid launch.

1. About ReleaseHQ

ReleaseHQ is a beta software product for consultants, architects, interior designers, studios, and similar service providers who want to manage project milestones, client approvals, payment proof, and controlled file release.

ReleaseHQ is currently in beta. Features, pricing, workflows, and availability may change as we learn from early users.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, using ReleaseHQ, inviting a client, uploading files, or opening a client review link, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Beta Disclaimer.

If you use ReleaseHQ on behalf of a studio, company, or client, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

3. Accounts and responsible use

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Do not share access with people who should not see your projects, files, client details, or payment records.

You agree not to misuse ReleaseHQ, bypass security controls, upload unlawful material, or use the product to harass, mislead, threaten, or defraud anyone.

4. Your files and project information

You retain ownership of the files, drawings, presentations, contracts, invoices, project details, comments, and other content you upload or create in ReleaseHQ.

You give ReleaseHQ permission to store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide the product, including previews, secure links, approvals, audit trails, and release summaries.

You should keep your own backup copies of important files. ReleaseHQ beta should not be treated as your only archive or storage system.

5. Client links, approvals, and release

ReleaseHQ helps record review activity, comments, approvals, payment proof, and file release status. It does not replace your contract with your client.

Approval records, UTR references, screenshots, and release summaries are intended to support operational clarity. They are not legal advice, legal escrow, payment settlement confirmation, or a court-certified record.

6. Payments and pricing

During beta, ReleaseHQ may allow one controlled release free of charge. After the first controlled release, continued use may require a Founding Beta plan at Rs 999 per month.

Founding Beta is available until the public launch date. Public launch pricing may include free, pay-per-release, project pass, individual, studio, annual, and enterprise options. Beta users will be told before paid terms materially change.

ReleaseHQ should not store raw card numbers, CVV, or sensitive payment credentials. Payment method collection should happen through a secure hosted payment provider such as Razorpay or an equivalent provider.

Unless a payment gateway is explicitly integrated for a transaction, ReleaseHQ only helps track manual payment details such as UPI ID, bank details, UTR/reference number, screenshot, invoice number, and consultant-side verification.

ReleaseHQ does not guarantee that a payment has settled in your bank account. You should confirm payment through your own bank, UPI, accounting, or payment provider records before releasing final files.

7. Link and file retention

Client review links are intended to expire after 15 days. Review files may also be removed after the review-retention period to reduce storage exposure and cloud cost.

Released final files may be removed from ReleaseHQ storage after the first successful download. Users should keep their own copies outside ReleaseHQ.

8. Beta availability and changes

ReleaseHQ may be unavailable, changed, paused, or discontinued during beta. We will try to avoid disruption, but beta access is provided for testing and feedback, not guaranteed production use.

9. Feedback

If you share feedback, suggestions, screenshots, or product ideas with us, you allow us to use that feedback to improve ReleaseHQ without owing compensation, while respecting your private project and client information.

10. Disclaimer and limitation

ReleaseHQ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” beta basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss, business interruption, lost profits, lost data, client disputes, unpaid invoices, or decisions you make based on beta product output.

11. Contact

For beta support, privacy requests, or legal questions, contact the ReleaseHQ founding team at your currently shared beta support email or WhatsApp channel. Formal company and support details should be added before public paid launch.
